If you're planning on skiing or riding, to get up the mountain, you’ll need a lift ticket. A lift ticket provides access to all Winter Park Resort lifts, that includes the Gondola. A lift ticket is required for all ages. Save when you book in advance!

Led by expert instructors, Ski + Ride School lessons are a great way to break bad habits, discover new techniques, and take on new terrain. So whether you’re new to the slopes or not, we highly recommend booking a lesson to ensure you have an enjoyable first day on the mountain. And hey, you might even make some new friends!

Rentals
If you don’t have your own gear, you’ll need to rent some. Winter Park Resort makes renting easy, and save the most when you book in advance! When you rent with us, you’ll enjoy complimentary overnight storage steps from The Gondola, a helmet, and get hassle-free equipment swaps throughout the day. Boots not fitting right? Want to switch from skis to a snowboard? Swap it out at no additional charge when you rent with us!

Gearing up for your trip
You have your slopeside lodging booked, lift tickets reserved, rentals secured, and lessons and activities planned, now you’ll need to pack for your winter mountain vacation! Climate in the mountains can change within minutes, so it’s always good to be prepared and pack enough layers.

You’re here, you’re ready for your mountain adventure, but how do you get around? Lucky for you, The Town of Winter Park has a free, year-round shuttle service called The Lift. It’s the easiest way to get around and it’ll take you to and from Winter Park Resort, downtown Winter Park, Fraser, and Granby.
Pro tip: Taxi and ride sharing (Uber, Lyft, etc.) in the area are typically not available
