Established in 1988, the Rocky Mountain Snowboard and Freeski Series is the largest and longest running amateur snowboard and freeskier series in the nation. This slopestyle competition at Winter Park Resort is one of three stops in the U.S.A.S.A. Rocky Mountain Series for athletes to qualify for USA Snowboard and Freeski Association Nationals, held in April at Copper Mountain.
The event will take place in Dark Territory terrain park with large-sized features as well as Re-railer terrain park with medium-sized features for younger athletes. Athletes are required to have a USA Snowboard and Freeski Association membership to compete in this competition. A one-day license is available for athletes 17 years of age and under. Athletes 9 years of age and under are eligible to compete for free. Helmets approved for snow sports are required.
