This winter Winter Park Resort is offering 3 different specialty clinics to help you learn and master those areas of the mountain you've always wanted to explore. Choose from Trees and Steeps, Bumps, or Women's Breakthrough. Whichever clinic you choose, you will leave with a confidence ready to take on the mountain.
Trees and Steeps
Glide through the trees and drop into steep terrain with confidence. Whether you want to get into the trees for the first time, or are a seasoned backcountry skier, this full-day clinic will help you navigate more advanced terrain.
Bump
Unlock more of the mountain when you master your mogul technique. In this full-day clinic you'll tighten up your technique and learn how to zip through moguls.
Breakthrough
Break past your barriers, discover new terrain, and find your breakthrough in this full-day clinic taught by and for women skiers and riders. Identify what's holding back your abilities and discover specific techniques to take your form to the next level through terrain-based learning.

Helpful Information

Q: What is an appropriate tip for an instructor?
A: Tips / gratuities are not expected but very much appreciated. Generally, 15% - 20% of the purchase price is suggested. Tips can be given directly to instructors by cash or Venmo. Cash and credit card tips can be left with guest services.

Q: Can I be in a lesson with my friend?
A: Providing you are the same ability level we will try to keep friends/family together. Please arrive to the start of your lesson together. Lessons are taught to one discipline, we do not combine ski and snowboard.

Q: What if I am late?
A: Visit the registration desk in the West Portal Rental Shop to reschedule for a future date. Late participants cannot be added to classes.

Q: What do I bring to my lesson?
A: Please be dressed and ready for a day in the snow! Warm base layers, wool socks, gloves or mittens, neck gator, jacket, and snow pants. Goggles and helmets are highly recommended! We will stop for water, and bathroom breaks throughout the day. Ski or snowboard equipment as well as lift access will need to be brought to the lesson.
Lift Tickets are required for all lessons. Lift Tickets are not included in the purchase of a lesson but can be added on to a lesson for a discounted rate.

If you didn't receive your lift ticket in the mail, you will receive an email or text message for pick up.

Rentals are not included with a lesson.

Please arrive geared up and ready to go at the lesson meeting area 15 minutes before the lesson. Lessons leave promptly at start time.
Full day clinics meet at 9:00am and run from 9:15am to 3:15pm

Adult lessons meet on snow outside West Portal Rental Shop, directly in front of the red chair plaza. Located at the base of the Arrow Chairlift at the Winter Park Base.

Guests can cancel lessons penalty-free up to 7 days in advance of arrival or rebook for later in the season. Purchases become non-refundable 7 days prior to arrival. Up to 9am MT the day prior to arrival, purchases may be rebooked for a different date during the current season. There is no rebooking fee and price differences will be charged. Guests who are not able to use purchased product in the current season may request a resort credit that may be used within a year. Requests for modifications to dates and/or packages after 9am MT day prior to arrival can be requested by emailing kprograms@winterparkresort.com.
