Early Education Center
Winter Park Resort’s Early Education Center provides childcare for eligible Winter Park Resort employees only. At this time, childcare is not available to guests or visitors of Winter Park Resort. This center supports working families on our team by offering dependable childcare during the workweek. If you are visiting the resort for vacation or day trips, please note that Winter Park Resort does not offer guest childcare, daycare, nursery care, or drop-off childcare services.
Our Mission
We acknowledge that social-emotional development is the foundation for all learning. As educators, we believe in developmentally-appropriate practice for all of the children in our care. We strive to provide a safe, nurturing, stimulating environment where children develop social-emotional skills, engage in fine and gross motor activities, participate in outdoor experiences, and prepare for Kindergarten through a variety of academic games, materials and activities.
Curriculum
Our center has a blended philosophy. This gives us the freedom to take what we feel are the best, most appropriate strategies and components from a variety of curricula. Our basis is the Creative Curriculum and we incorporate Pyramid Training, Handwriting Without Tears and The Incredible Years. Coming soon, we will be also using parts of the Project Learning Tree. Additionally, we are participating in Ages and Stages (ASQ-3) screening process to make sure we are addressing children's developmental needs on an individual basis.

Does Winter Park Resort have a guest nursery or non-ski nursery?
No. There is no guest nursery or non-ski nursery available at Winter Park Resort. The only childcare offered by the resort is through the Early Education Center for eligible employees.
Does Winter Park Resort offer babysitting or resort sitters?
No. Winter Park Resort does not provide babysitting services for guests. If you need babysitting support during your trip, you may want to research local childcare and sitter options in the Winter Park, Fraser, and Grand County area.
Does Winter Park Resort offer childcare for guests?

Is childcare included with Ski School or lessons?
No. Winter Park Resort Ski School programs do not include childcare services. Ski School offerings are designed for participants who are enrolled in lessons and do not function as daycare.
